Dude, I'm Getting a Dell!
I really like OSX, but I can work with Vista or Linux too…
The things I like about OSX basically are:
- "Print to PDF";
- The bash shell
- It comes with ruby, python, perl, … preinstalled
- Interface guidelines most people follow
- Timemachine
- The syncing integration with my iPhone
I could have gotten the MacBook Pro for a price of about 1400 euros thanks to the Apple Developer Connection, but the main advantage of the MBP is the ability to run OSX and a nice design. Hardwarewise, the MacBook Pro just isn't "that"; good to justify the price.
