Recently someone gave me a hint about a GREAT podcast:
In contrast to many other people on the internet, the folks who do the Security Now! podcast really know about what they're talking about!
The topics generally concern current Network Threads (WEP,WPA,…), Internet Basics (NAT, DNS, TCP/UDP), System Level Security (Rootkits) and other interesting topics.
MPlayer works fine
$ mplayer -dumpfile 90smegamix.mp3 -dumpaudio 90smegamix.flv

As there doesn't seem to be an "md5sum"; tool for OSX, I'd like to give you a little hint: use openssl!
marcbook:/incoming/ftp marc$ openssl md5 ubuntu-7.04-desktop-i386.iso
Works fine too :)
Just a little "reminder"; for myself:
TVShows is a Mac OS X application that automatically downloads your favourite shows. You don't need anymore to manually download torrent files, TVShows does it for you. Manage your subscriptions and preferences from within the TVShows application, and TVShows takes care of the rest: a background process is automatically launched at a regular interval to check for new episodes.
Everyone is talking about it
I tried it and the part I like is the integration within Jabber. Simply add your jabber ID to your twitter profile and send it the passkey you receive on your twitter profile. From that moment on you can simply message the twitter bot contact and it is automatically posted.
I still don't really get the main reason behind it, but I'm a web 2.0 whore, so trying won't hurt ;)
UPDATE: ok.. boooooring :P I still don't get why I should tell other people what I'm doing atm. Bye twitter
"Tim Ferris"; is a Princeton Alumni and a guest lecturer over there.
From his page:
Serial entrepreneur and ultravagabond Timothy Ferriss has been featured by dozens of media, including The New York Times, National Geographic Traveler, NBC, and MAXIM. He speaks six languages, runs a multinational firm from wireless locations worldwide, and has been a popular guest lecturer at Princeton University since 2003, where he presents entrepreneurship as a tool for ideal lifestyle design and world change.
Over here you can find the MP3.
p.s. I found it over here on "Soeren Web";. A nice german page with an interesting podcast. Looking forward to listen to the Podcast EP#9 dealing with Design Patterns.
They reference this podcast by "Bruce Eckel"; dealing with design patterns also (6 mins)
